Chemical engineer turned data scientist. Currently at the intersection of
machine learning, statistics-free AI vibe coding, and figuring things out.
I started out studying Chemical Engineering at NIT Trichy - loved the labs, less so the lab reports. After graduating I joined Capgemini as a Senior Analyst, which taught me how tech actually works inside large organisations (spoiler: a lot of Excel).
That curiosity about data eventually pulled me towards PGDBA from IIM Calcutta, ISI Kolkata & IIT Kharagpur; a programme that sits right at the edge of statistics, computing and business. These days I work on: NLP pipelines, fraud models and the occasional YouTube video.

Professionally, I work on fraud prevention in financial networks; building models that catch bad actors in card transaction data before they do real damage. It's one of those problems where the stakes are high enough that getting it right actually matters.
Outside of work, I work on things I care about; whether that's creating educational content, or working on tools that contribute in some small way to a healthier environment. No grand plan, just a belief that the things you choose to spend time on should mean something.
